How do I get Started with My Sim2Grow Med Admin Simulator?

Step 1: Assemble the Medication Cart

• Attach wheels, handle, and side tray according to the cart instructions.
• Apply drawer labels.
• Organize drawer dividers and medication bins.

Step 2: Organize Medications

Medication tags have a designated lot number on the back of each tag. Below is the breakdown of each drawer's designation. Place medication tags in the appropriate locations:

• Drawer 1: Pockets 1–6
• Drawer 2: Pockets 7–12
• Drawer 3: Pockets 13–18
• Drawer 4: Respiratory, Oral Liquid, and Vaccine medications
• Drawer 5: IV Piggyback medications
• Drawer 6: IV Solutions

Step 3: Identify the Reference iPad

One iPad (in a black case) is designated as the Reference iPad and is marked with an "R" on the back.

This iPad is used for:

• Creating patients
• Entering medication orders
• Generating wristbands
• Retrieving reports
• Managing system updates

Step 4: Log In

Open:

1. FileMaker Go
2. Sim2Grow File

Faculty Login:

• Username: faculty
• Password: admin

Step 5: Create Your First Patient

Use the Faculty Setup Portal to:

• Add patient demographics
• Select Test or Practice status for each Patient
• Add clinical information
• Create medication orders

After setup is complete:

1. Create patient scenarios
2. Add medication orders
3. Generate wristbands
4. Share the updated file with student iPads
5. Begin simulation activities
